Artificial Grass Manufacturers introduce the construction steps of artificial turf:
1. Basic inspection
Before the artificial turf enters the field, the basic project must be inspected and accepted to ensure that the basic site is clean and free of impurities. If the surface is found to be uneven, it should be repaired and leveled in time. If there is debris on the foundation site, the foundation site should be cleaned up in time to ensure that the cleanliness and flatness of the construction site meet the requirements for lawn laying.
2. Measurement and setting out
According to the requirements of the design drawings, use measuring tools to accurately measure the size of the site, and control the error within the allowable range. If the size is different, it should be modified immediately, and the allowable error is 5 mm.
3. Paving
Lay non-woven fabrics along the length of the site, the non-woven fabrics are firmly bonded, and the arrangement direction should be 90 degrees to the lawn layout direction. Spread the turf on the ground according to the original factory specifications, and the turf should be overlapped by 3~8 mm. Cut the lapped turf with a lawn cutter, and the seam should be no larger than 3mm. Lay lap cloth under the cutting area, and use a glue applicator to brush the joint glue on the joint surface and tap it firmly.
4. Gluing, bonding, pressurizing, curing
① Glue application: use a glue applicator on the lawn base cloth, strictly control the thickness of the glue, pay attention to the appropriate speed of glue application, and apply the glue on the two bonding surfaces to be bonded separately. The thickness of the brushing is uniform, and the glue cannot be applied repeatedly, otherwise, there will be foaming.
② Bonding: When bonding, one-time alignment and bonding are required, and the bonded objects must not be moved back and forth after bonding. Within 30 minutes after glue application, the glue should be 80% to 90% dry, so it is better not to stick to the touch.
③Pressure: Use a special rubber hammer to hammer hard from the bonding point to both sides, so that the surface is fully contracted and dense, and the bonding is stronger.
④ Curing: The curing time is generally three days. During the curing period, attention should be paid to maintenance, avoiding exposure to the sun, water immersion, and movement, and the best state of bonding has been achieved.
5. Injection of quartz sand and rubber particles
The height of sand filling with quartz sand is within 10 mm of the remaining height of the lawn, and the spreading speed should be uniform. During laying, it is necessary to ensure the flatness and control the filling amount of quartz sand; the injection of rubber particles is the same as that of quartz sand.
